With conventional policy norms under challenge everywhere, the Hong Kong Institution for International Finance (HKIIF) provide an innovative platform for debating and catalyzing alternative policy options, bridging the perspectives from East and West, and enabling individuals, corporations, communities, and governments for a new era in finance and economy. We are an independent, non-profit knowledge-exchange institute committed to the development of a global financial sector that is more responsive and responsible to an evolving global economy that should be more equitable and sustainable.
Mission
As the global economy resets, HKIIF's mission is to bring outstanding thinkers and practitioners from around the world together to share, debate, and, analyze; knowledge, experiences and insights about key policy changes that will define the future role of international finance. Our aim is to bridge East and West and enable finance professionals, businesses, policymakers, scholars and leaders of civil society to make constructive contributions to our mission. Our approach integrates Asian perspectives, including China-specific views, with insights drawn from Western experiences. Our policy-focused forum is committed to the development of for a more prosperous, inclusive and sustainable global economy served by a vibrant and sound international financial sector.
